His practice focuses on Commercial Law, Company Law, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, International Law, Contract Law, Labor Law, Trade Union Law and collective bargaining legislation. He advises predominantly international clients.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Nazilli in 1967, he graduated from the English Department of \u0130zmir Bornova Anatolian High School (1985) and from \u0130stanbul University Faculty of Law (1989). He holds a certificate from the University of Edinburgh School of Law and studied German at the Goethe-Institut.<\/p>\n<p>He is a member of the \u0130zmir Bar Association, the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and the International Bar Association (IBA). He served on the Foreign Relations Committee of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and represented Turkey at the Balkan Bar Associations meeting in Thessaloniki. He was also a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), headquartered in Brussels.<\/p>\n<p>He has served the Turkish-American Business Association (TABA-AmCham \u0130zmir) as a board member, as Secretary General of its \u0130zmir Branch and for two terms as a member of its supervisory board. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, Legal Advisor to its Board of Directors and a member of its Industrial Relations Committee, within whose training group he has for many years delivered seminars on Labor Law, occupational health and safety, labor legislation and industrial relations.
